The Paris agreement, adopted in 2015, aims to prevent the global average temperature of the planet from exceeding 2ºC compared to pre-industrial levels, which is why an economic and social transformation is necessary. The role of women is decisive in achieving a transition towards greener, more resilient and inclusive economies.

Climate change and gender disparity in the energy sector is a reality. To establish a direct relationship between the energy transition and gender parity, it is necessary to make female references visible. This, together with energy models through renewable energy sources, will benefit the decarbonization of the sector and curb global warming.
