Quiñones is the President of the Mexican National Solar Energy Association, chair of the NESO-13 standardization committee and Professor at UNAM. She is also a senior mentor at the Red Mujeres en Energía Renovable y Eficiencia Energética (REDMEREE) or Women in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Network.
