Raúl Carral was previously responsible for Business Development for Wärtsilä Energy Solutions in Latin America North. Responsible for Sales / Business Development for Power Plants for Wärtsilä. In the role, he identified energy industry trends as well as partners and opportunities to improve policy, decarbonization and efficiencies in his regions of focus.
Previously, he was founder, managing partner and consultant at Finance and Development Group S.A. de C.V., a business and project development consulting firm based in México. Raúl was also a Professor of Innovation and Strategy at Monterrey Tech, Campus Santa Fe in Mexico City and International Faculty Fellow of MIT Sloan School of Business.
Raúl has years of experience of working in business development of infrastructure projects with Nokia Networks, as well as working with Nokia Mobile Phones and Research in Motion.
Raúl holds a Doctor of Science in Technology degree from Helsinki University of Technology in Helsinki, Finland, a Master of Business and Administration from Helsinki University of Technology in Helsinki, Finland, a Master of Science in Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology in Helsinki, Finland.
